To approach the students to archaeological work from the excavation aspect to follow-up activities: classification, date, restoration and interpretation.
To apply scientific methods to get information from archaeological rests.
Appreciate the archaeological rests as a common inheritance to preserve.

| Description: |
This activity is carried out in three phases. The first one consists of an excavation of 54 m˛, filled with archaeological material to draw conclusions from. The second one is performed in a classroom, where supplementary laboratory tasks are introduced, dating items, identifying, restoring, filling them, drawings. To end with, we speak up about their conclusions.

Students’ workbook, archaeological site, excavation tools compass, measure tapes, lens etc. ,authentic archaeological material and reproductions.

We should divide the class into two groups for the work “in situ”.
